CyberJet More Info
To get CyberJet you need an installation done at the Telecom exchange (and maybe your house), you need a broadband modem and you may need some other filters. You can pick all of these options as part of our sign-up form.
This option is for customers with existing ADSL broadband connections. Your existing broadband service is transferred from your current provider to Actrix and once the transfer is complete all you should need to do is change the username and password in your modem.
Connection Only - Usually $99, currently FREE with 12 month minimum term.
This is the standard option required for most people. All the work is done at your local phone exchange so you can plug your modem into any phone socket around your house. You must use ADSL filters on every device that is connected to a phone socket in your house (phone, fax, Sky TV, etc).
Connection & Wiring - Usually $269, currently $169 with 12 month minimum term.
This is required where you have other phone based services such as a monitored alarm. As well as the standard installation at your local phone exchange a Telecom installer will come out and install a broadband phone jack in your house. You can then only connect your modem to that socket. No ADSL filters are required.
If you transfer or disconnect the Broadband connection (or the line it is enabled on) within the minimum term the usual setup fee will apply. If you move your Broadband connection to another location within the minimum term a disconnection fee and / or new minimum term may apply; please contact us at least five business days before you move for assistance with this.

All daily & monthly customers have access to their own online graphs so you can monitor your own usage to see if you have hit your allowance and track your usage history over time. That way if you feel your current plan or allowance isn't right just let us know and we'll recommend the best plan for you based on the way you use the Internet.
Daily Traffic Allowance
Monthly limits can be used up in the first few days, leaving you with slow access for the rest of the month. We didn't think that was very fair on you, so we offer a daily allowance as well. This way, you get fast broadband every day no matter what. Simple isn't it?
If you have a big day and reach your traffic allowance (which ever one it may be) your connection speed is reduced to 64Kbps in each direction, but only until your next traffic allowance reset time when your speed is returned to normal.
The table below will help you do a direct comparison with those who have not yet seen the light of daily allowances:
Monthly Traffic Allowance
The monthly plans are designed to cater for users whose usage varies a lot from day to day. On a daily plan if you don't use your allowance each day it is reset and any unused portion expires, whereas on a monthly plan you can take your time and use as much or as little as you want when you want. As a result the daily allowances generally have a slightly higher monthly equivalent allowance for the same price.
On all monthly plans a warning E-mail is sent to your contact E-mail address when you exceed 80% of your allowance. If you exceed 100% of your allowance a further warning E-mail is sent to advise you.
If you opt for an Excess Usage monthly plan and exceed your allowance a warning E-mail is sent and a 1GB Excess Usage Data Block is automatically added to your account (at the current cost). As you use this 1GB another warning E-mail is sent when you exceed 80% of it, and if you exceed 100% a further warning is sent and a new 1GB Data Block is added. This is repeated until your monthly allowance is reset on your next billing day.
