Outlook 2010
This setup procedure is for setting up Outlook to send/receive using an Actrix broadband connection. If your using another broadband provider or plan on taking your laptop away from home please click here for a different setup guide. 1. Open Outlook 2010 and click File in the top left 2. Choose Info and then click Add Account Outlook 2010 Setup Guide 3. On the first screen, click manually config and then click Next Outlook 2010 Setup Guide 4. Choose the service as Internet E-mail Outlook 2010 Setup Guide 5. Enter the following information: - Enter your name, email address (username@actrix.co.nz) - Change the account type to POP or IMAP depending on your requirements - Incoming mail server: pop.actrix.co.nz or imap.actrix.co.nz - Outgoing mail server: smtp.actrix.co.nz - Enter your username (no @actrix.co.nz) and your password (case sensitive). Outlook 2010 Setup Guide 6. Ensure Test Account Settings is unticked if you are not currently connected to the internet. 7. Click Next 8. You have successfully setup your account.
