This setup procedure is for setting up Outlook to send/receive using an Actrix broadband connection. If your using another broadband provider or plan on taking your laptop away from home please click here for a different setup guide. 1. Open Outlook 2010 and click File in the top left 2. Choose Info and then click Add Account 3. On the first screen, click manually config and then click Next 4. Choose the service as Internet E-mail 5. Enter the following information: - Enter your name, email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) - Change the account type to POP or IMAP depending on your requirements - Incoming mail server: pop.actrix.co.nz or imap.actrix.co.nz - Outgoing mail server: smtp.actrix.co.nz - Enter your username (no @actrix.co.nz) and your password (case sensitive). 6. Ensure Test Account Settings is unticked if you are not currently connected to the internet. 7. Click Next 8. You have successfully setup your account. Click Close to return to the your mailbox.
